Welcome to Carmen!!
Carmen is an online teaching and learning resource designed for higher education faculty, organizational instructors and other facilitators. Carmen contains extensive information pertaining to the dynamic knowledge and competence associated with instruction and learning. Carmen invites colleagues through its portal to four instructive and interactive web-based sites: Carmen's Teaching and Learning Guidebook; Carmen's Angel Courses; Carmen's Faculty Forum; and Carmen's Roundtable.
Carmen's Teaching-Learning Guidebook is dedicated to improving teaching and learning in higher education and other organizations. It contains extensive media-enhanced written information and hyperlinks to other resource materials. We encourage discussion that focuses on teaching-learning? among higher education faculty, organizational instructors and other facilitators. We encourage and support online collaboration within a dedicated teaching-learning community.
Carmen's Angel Courses are designed to provide ongoing professional development opportunities. The content of these courses is relatd to the Guidebook. Angel instructional modules are focused, though flexible, allowing for personalized scheduling and completion.
Carmen's Faculty Orientation? is designed to offer a broad array of instructional support to new and veteran faculty, instructors and other facilitators.
Carmen's Roundtable features opportunities for Carmen's colleagues to "gather" at the roundtable. You are welcome to share thoughts, questions, strategies, challenge practices, ponder issues, clarify interests, analyze problems, and propose needs.
